Foundry H2.0

Lager

ABV 5.2% • IBU 35

We brewed this German-style Pilsner from legendary Hallertauer Mittelfrüh hops, combining their prized floral, spicy notes with the rich, grainy character of premium Bavarian malt, creating a very balanced, flavorful-yet-drinkable lager.

I named this for my Dad, Howard. Howard was a foundry man at Pelton Steel, Milwaukee, then moved to Waupaca Foundry. Like all foundry men he was a loyal, hardworking and dedicated man, always putting in a full day’s work to earn that nice cold pilsner. To honor him and all hardworking people, we offer our Foundry Water.

Roofer's Delight 2.1

Red Eye Lager

ABV 6.1% • IBU 20

A deeply red Czech-style amber lager (polotmavé pivo) brewed with rye and barley malts, with European noble hops complementing rich spicy character. Bold but smooth; complex but drinkable. Na zdraví!

I named this one for my father-in-law, Harold. Harold was a roofer by trade first at Langer Roofing in Milwaukee until he started his own roofing company, Krebs Roofing Inc. He has always been on top of things and a dedicated, hardworking man who enjoys ending many a long day with a cold red lager. His daughters recall him reciting his roofer’s creed, “Red sky in the morning – roofer’s warning, red sky at night – Roofer’s Delight!” Little did we know that works for sailors too! This HINDER has aromas of caramelized malt and roasted grain with a smooth medium to light body and a slightly hoppy finish.

715

Blonde

ABV 5.5% • IBU 19

We brew this quaffable blonde ale in the Kölsch tradition, combining a unique strain of European barley with a smattering of noble hops, while carefully controlled warm ale fermentation contributes subtle floral notes to this delicately-balanced German-style ale.

Brown Noser

American Brown Ale

ABV 5.9% • IBU 34

Brewmaster David dusted off one of his favorite old homebrew recipes to create this hoppy brown ale. Breathe in the aroma and then savor the robust taste of rich chocolate and caramel malts up front and crisp, spicy, woody hops on the “backside” for a gentle kick (or maybe a kiss) in the… well, you know.

Butt Lite

Light Lager

ABV 4.8% • IBU 10

Very pale, very drinkable craft take on American light lager features subtle malt flavor, a hint of fruit, and a crisp, refreshing finish.

De la Fessé

Blackberry Saison

ABV 6.0.% • IBU 25

This Belgian-style saison (farmhouse ale) is fermented with blackberries, with spicy malted rye and the earthy, tropical fruit flavors of Belgian yeast complementing the fruit. Here’s a little guidance on the pronunciation: Mûre Saison de la Fessé (myr say-zone du lah face-ah). What does “de la Fessé” mean? Well, “of the buttock” of course! (We had to get a HINDER reference in there.) French lesson complete! Now put it into practice and go order one!

GladAss

Porter

ABV 5.5% • IBU 40

A nickname for the old stomping grounds in Amherst, this porter will have you happily reminiscing on those good old days. Rich in both flavor and body with every sip, this HINDER will have you grinning from ear to ear.

I Pledge My Assets

IPA

ABV 6.9% • IBU 65

It all began with the love of a good IPA…and then before we knew it, we’ve got ourselves a brewery and the Head HINDER has successfully forked it all (well more than expected) over! Cheers to a dream and a journey worth every penny. Not overly bitter or offensive, rather complex and refreshing, it’s definitely worth pledging an asset or maybe two.

Razzle d'ASSle

Belgian Sour

ABV 6.0% • IBU 16

This effervescent golden Belgian sour sparkles with the bright aroma of fresh golden raspberries, the fruity flair of expressive Belgian yeast, and a lively tartness from kettle souring for a little kick in the butt. Prepare to be d’ASSled!

Red Tail Ale

Amber Ale

ABV 4.7% • IBU 21

This smooth, slightly sweet amber ale balances malty flavors of caramel and baking bread with crisp Wisconsin-grown hops. Raise a pint to the heroic Tuskegee airmen who fought for the freedom to grab our HINDERS!

Schweddy

Stout

ABV 9.1% • IBU 39

Don’t worry, there aren’t any beads of sweat in here, but our Master Brewer sure put his back into this one. As you enjoy this dark, delicious brew, send a toast to him for the long dark nights that made this one extra delicious.

Seven Year Itch*

Blonde

ABV 9.3% • IBU 47

To scratch our seven-year anniversary itch, we dove deep into the barrel cellar and blended some of our oldest and most expressive beers—Wee Heavy Hinder and Schweddy Stout aged in three kinds of bourbon barrels, including one that once held maple syrup and another aged with a small handful of candy cap mushroom to subtly enhance the beer’s maple character. The result is a deep red-brown strong ale layered with oak, vanilla, and gentle sweetness, finishing smooth and velvety.

*Contains a trace of candy cap mushroom to impart an essence of maple syrup.

Wee Heavy HINDER

Scotch Ale

ABV 11.5% • IBU 32

This deeply malty, red-brown Scotch style strong ale (Wee Heavy) features intermingling rich malt, dark caramel, and ripe fruit, with a hint of roasted grain balancing it’s semisweet finish.

Wicked Craggy

New England IPA

ABV 7.3% • IBU 33

A special new yeast strain unlocks all the potential flavor of a BUTT-load of American hops, creating massive aromas of pine, tropical fruit, and citrus peel which are complemented by toasted wheat and oats, with hop bitterness reduced through “hop bursting” for a very mild, lightly sweet finish.
